Sairiyo aims to create a sustainable and one of a kind clothings for people who are proud of the tradition, culture and community of like-minded people. 

The logo draws inspiration from the traditional rhythmic, interwoven technique of Kumihimo braiding, and the organic, interconnected structure of a spiderweb, symbolising the brand’s deep roots to the tradition and how it interweaves the tight-knit community.


Kumihimo is a craft that seamlessly weaves together beauty, history, and functionality. “Gathered threads” symbolising tradition roots.  The logo draws inspiration from the rhythmic, interwoven technique of Kumihimo braiding and the connected structure of a spiderweb, symbolising Sairiyō’s deep roots in tradition and the strength of its community. 



The logo’s circular yet rigid form conveys resilience and unity, capturing Sairiyō’s strength and commitment.

Layout for the posters are simple, with the soft overlay of the logo on top, the focus item will always be in the centre, branching outwards. Word mark will be used as a pair on top and bottom, showing two states (i.e. heritage & innovation, etc.) co-existing in this brand

Material in the picture is a woven image called Scale which is the world’s first super-modular stand-alone acoustic system that grows and shrinks
