I created a film poster for Dancing in A Coup film, directed by Thura Myo Zin. Dancing In A Coup is a story written, re-enacted and retold based on real life records of visual, texts and photographic evidence of what life was like for a Burmese college student in Myanmar in the Spring of 2021.

Synopsis: Dancing in a Coup is based on a true story. The independent short film follows a freshman who experiences college online amid the coronavirus pandemic and a military coup in Myanmar. While trapped within the walls of his home and his limited ability to help fight for the cause of his country, he soon virtually befriends a classmate whom he can express his voice with. Hoping to meet each other in real life someday, a friendship flourishes between the two despite the differences in their ways of life. Although, with the time of isolation and instability, and the martial laws, censorship, a dictated internet curfew, and a bloody nationwide crackdown on protesters that leaves thousands of civilians detained, displaced and killed... life becomes unpredictable.
